Adult discipleship classes

Sunday Mornings at 9am and 10:30am

Discipleship classes provide an environment where people can connect in fellowship and engage in a more intimate study of the Bible. Study topics and teachers change every 6 weeks.

9am Class Options • 6/21/26 - 7/26/26

Beyond the Screen: Parenting in a Tech-Obsessed Culture

Marcus Yeatts, Arlin Roth, Ryan Deitle • Basement Fellowship Hall

Raising children in a tech-obsessed social media world is tough. What limits do you put on it? Is it safe? Why can't kids just put their phones down? This class will use the Engaged video series with Kirk Cameron to  help you navigate parenting in a social media age. Time will be provided to ask questions, share ideas and concerns, and hear how other parents handle technology and social media.

Why Is This In The Bible?

Ed & Lori Stern • Multipurpose Room

God is writing a story larger than any individual life. Though circumstances often seem chaotic, He remains sovereign over history, accomplishing His purposes through both the ordinary and the extraordinary. By examining the cultural and historical contexts of key biblical narratives, this class will draw out timeless principles to help us trust God’s control over the big picture of time and history.

Following Jesus in College and Career

Pastor Ryan & Laura Ritchey • Upper Room

What does it look like to follow Jesus in college, the workplace, and everyday adult life? This class is designed for college students and young adults who want to grow spiritually while navigating calling, career decisions, relationships, and responsibility. Together, we’ll learn how to honor Christ in everyday decisions, relationships, work, and long-term direction. Whether you are in school, starting a career, figuring out your next step, or somewhere in between, this class is for you.

Berachah Class

Danny Horton • Room 101 (behind the MP Room)

The class is continuing Neil Anderson’s Who I Am in Christ. Grounded in Scripture, this study explores how Jesus’s sacrifice makes us fully accepted, secure, and significant

10:30am Class • 6/21/26 - 7/26/26

Minor Prophets 1

Pastor Brant • Multipurpose Room

The Minor Prophets are often called the “white pages” of the Bible because they are so rarely read, yet they speak powerfully to the struggles of our world today. These prophets (i.e.: preachers) confronted cultures that marginalized God, tolerated sin, and drifted spiritually while calling God’s people to repentance, faithfulness, and hope. Join us this summer as we begin with an overview of the Minor Prophets (June 21) before studying Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, and Micah in the weeks that follow. Together we will rediscover how God faithfully pursues His people with mercy and offers restoration to those who return to Him. (The remaining Minor Prophets will be covered in a follow-up class during 2027.)
