Teachers: Joey Smith & Prayer Team – Multipurpose Room
Side by Side, Walking with Others in Wisdom & Love
Teacher: Art Costigan – Fellowship Hall
We all know people who are struggling. And if we're honest, we are too but often are too afraid to admit it. In Side by Side, author Edward Welch challenges the idea that ministering to others in need should be left to pastors and counselors. The Bible tells us we are all needy, yet by design, that qualifies and equips us to minister to others in need. This series will dig into what it looks like to move toward others in their pain instead of avoiding it, listening well before we speak, and caring for others even if we don't feel qualified to do so. Whether you're walking with a friend through grief, addiction, conflict, or just the weight of daily life, this study will equip you to care for others the way Christ has cared for you and allow others to care for your needs too.
Young Adult Class - Financial Peace
Teacher: Joy Campbell – Upper Room
While this class is geared toward young adults, it is open to ANYONE who desires to have peace and confidence in their finances. We’ll explore God’s plan for managing our finances, as the Bible has much to say about money. Together, we’ll learn how to take control of our finances so that our money doesn’t end up controlling us.
Berachah Class
Teacher: Danny Horton – Room 101
The Berachah Class will continue to study through the book Who I Am in Christ by Neil Anderson. In this outstanding book, Anderson delves into the true identity of those who have trusted Jesus as their savior. Using a multitude of Scripture references, the author explains that, in spite of what Satan would have us believe, we are accepted, secure and significant because of what Christ accomplished through His sacrificial death on the cross.
