The mission of the GLM is to "Equip and encourage women of all ages to use their God-given gifts to exhort one another and to evangelize their communities." There are many activities planned throughout the year for ladies to come together and grow in God's Word, including Bible studies, a fall retreat, Make It, Bake It, Sew It, Grow It, outreach opportunities and other activities. Moms in Prayer
Moms in Prayer is a group of mothers and grandmothers who meet weekly to pray for school-age children and for the teachers at our local schools. The theme verse for MIP is Lamentations 2:19: "Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord, lift up your hands toward Him for the lives of your children."
There are two groups that meet for MIP. If your children attend a Spring Cove School District school, the group meets Wednesdays from 9am to 10am here at MGBC. If your students attend a school in the Nothern Bedford County School District, meet at the Loysburg Methodist Church from 9am to 10am on Mondays. Any mothers or grandmothers interested in joining Moms in Prayer are always welcome! Contact Anne Stern at email@example.com for more information. For more information about Moms in Prayer International go to www.MomsInTouch.org.
"Moms Matter" is designed for mothers of Preschoolers and Kindergartners. It meets the second Thursday morning of each month September through May 9:30 to 11:30. Come join us for refreshments, fellowship and topics relevant to moms. Child care will be provided. Contact Lindsey Diehl at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
These classes meet on Mondays at 7:00 pm and is instructed by Jennifer Butler. Our goal is to provide a safe program that focuses on three areas of physical fitness: strength, flexability, and cardiovascular health. Anyone interested in joining is welcome to come and observe.
