Son Seekers
The Son Seekers Adult Bible Fellowship, taught by Pastor Brian McCall, is made up of a group of individuals, studying topics relevant to today, in an effort to follow after Jesus Christ. We strive to study the word of God and, through His Holy Spirit, make application to our lives to live for Christ within our culture and circumstances. The format of the class is generally interactive in nature. The make-up of the class is not age specific. While some of the participants have younger and teenage children, many are “empty nesters”. This broad range of life experiences makes the Son Seekers appealing to a wide array of ages. The Son Seekers meet in in the Fellowship Hall and will study the book of Acts during April, May and June. Have you ever considered the final words of the book of Acts? It seems as though it ends very abrubtly. Maybe it is because the story of the book of Acts hasn't ended! It's a book about evangelism, but more than 90 percent of churchgoers don't feel prepared to share their faith. Are you one of then? God has chosen us to write the remaining chapters of Acts with the words and actions of our lives. This video series features well-known speakers and authors such as James McDonald, Joseph Stowell, Charles Price and Bruxy Cavey. Each session deals with a different aspect of telliong others about Jesus. We will watch each of the 8 to 14 minutes videos and then discuss their application to the church today and our own lives.

Berachah
The Berachah Class, taught by Danny Horton, is generally comprised of men and women ages 55 and over. The class has used a variety of study formats over the past year. As the second quarter of 2013 begins the Berachah class will begin a video series by Chip Ingram, "Overcoming Emotions that Destroy". Do you know that many people, especially christians, are often angry and don't even know it? Is it a sin to be angry? In this series Chip Ingram presents a very practical and honest look at anger and explains why it is so important that we understand this emotion, which often is directly tied to things like depression, headaches and stomach problems. He discusses the three ways people typically handle anger and provides practical ways to deal effectively with it. This series has great potential to change how we handle our anger, how we get along with others and even how we drive!

Glenn Rhykerd teaches the Ambassador Adult Bible Fellowship Group. Varying ages from young adult through retirement age regularly attend the Ambassador class each Sunday. The focus will be on contentment and a maturing relationship with Christ. During the second half of this quarter, Floyd Deterline will share a series featuring interesting, amazing and llittle known facts about the Bible. No Greater Joy
Dave Smith teaches the No Greater Joy ABF which is attended by parents predominately in the child rearing years. Bible study and discussion center around topics of interest to young families. Beginning in April the class will study "Forgotten God" by Francis Chan, a challenge to the follower of Christ to reconsider their thoughts regarding the, power, place and importance of the Holy Spirit. This seven-session video resource offers a compelling invitation to understand, embrace, and follow the Holy Spirit's direction in our lives. It is designed to initiate and facilitate discussion, interaction and practical application. Following the completion of this series the class may group as men and women to study issues pertinent to each of these. The class meets each Sunday in the Upper Room which is located above the Multipurpose Room.

"Ed's Excellent Edventure"
( aka Young Couples Class for Engaged or Newly Married)
Ed and Lori Stern began teaching the Young Couples ABF in January. The purpose of this class is to come alongside engaged and newly married couples to confront circumstances specific to them, help them build relationships and develop long term thinking. Your marriage is much more than a union between you and your spouse. It is a spiritual discipline ideally suited to help you know God more fully and intimately. Sacred Marriage shifts the focus from marital enrichment to spiritual enrichment in ways that can help you love your mate more. Whether it is deligtful or difficult, your marriage can become a doorway to a closer walk with God. Everthing about your marriage - everything from the history you and your spouse create, to the love you share, to the forgiveness you both offer and seek by turn - is filled with the capacity to help you grow in Christ's character. This six-session, small group video curriculum will equip you to love God more passionately, reflect the nature of His Son more precisely, and fulfill God's overarching purpose for your marriage. This class meets in the Church Office Conference Room.

Young Adults
Young Adults (18 -25 years of age) meet at Pastor Adam and Megan's home each Sunday morning. This quarter (April, May, June) Pastor Adam will begin a chapter by chapter study in the book of Ephesians with personal as well as corporate application of the principles learned.
