Kids' Clubs are held from 7:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesdays running from September through April. The programs are open to all children from the community as well as the church family. Parents should accompany their children into the main lobby and check in using the computer system. Children are invited to participate in the following programs depending on their age level:
Ages 3 & 4 + Grade K: Buddies Club
This year in Buddies, boys and girls are working through the “Jesus Storybook Bible” curriculum. Using animated videos, the children are learning how every story in the Old Testament and New Testament points to one person: Jesus! The children also learn verses, sing, make crafts, play games, have snacks and have activity nights. The evening is split into large group times and smaller group activities.
1st-3rd Grade Girls' Club: SMM
This club for younger girls emphasizes Bible teaching and fun girl things! Bible study nights use the "What's in the Bible" curriculum to guide discussion. As we wrap up our final year in studying the Bible chronologically, we will focus on the New Testament this year. Other nights will include crafts, games, missions, and special guests.
4th-5th Grade Girls' Club: Amigas
The older girls have a Bible lesson, memorize verses, make creative crafts, have fun activities, and spend lots of quality time with their leaders and other girls their age.
1st-5th Grade Boys' Club: MIT (Men In Training)
The boys' clubs split onto groups based on age. All boys start and end in their grade level classroom and spend time meeting with a leader and sharing prayer requests and getting to know each other. The first two weeks of the month the boys meet in grade level groups and study the Bible using a variety of resources and activities led by male leaders. The third week will be game night, either playing group games, board games, or gym night at the Park. Weeks four and five will provide time for missions speakers and special guests who will share with the boys how to be a man who serves God through their chosen occupation.
