NEW MULTIPURPOSE BUILDING GROUND-BREAKING PLANNED FOR LATER THIS FALL!!  The $50,000 Goal was met!

A new multi-purpose building is to be built in front of the gym later this Fall as permits are secured and engineering is completed.  The goal of $50,000 to break ground was reached.  Now we need help to complete the project.  It would be great if we could earn an additional $50,000 by next summer so that we could complete the project with very little debt.    The new building will include a dining area and we are hoping we can complete the building by next summer for use in the 2009 camping program.  We are praying the cement work can be completed before the hard freeze of winter.  The tentative cost for the building will be  $100,000-130,000.  The building will have an open feel with a high ceiling and lots of windows.  Please remember we still need general fund giving to meet our regular budget needs to continue our camping program each week throughout the year.  God's people have rallied with us this year.  We are very grateful we have been able to maintain our general fund with the additional project giving.  These are exciting days at Camp Mantowagan.  We had one of our best years of spiritual decisions this past summer in 30+ years of ministry.  Camp ministry is making an impact and having this new facility will create an even better environment as we meet the needs of teens and kids....(and also the adults who come to camp, too!)
