Praise and Worship | Praise Teams
At MGBC we currently have six Praise and Worship teams.
Following is a brief description of each team:
Adoration | Five piece, seven vocal contemporary big harmony vocal band consisting primarily of young adults with children. Style would be classified as adult contemporary.
Testify | Five piece, eight vocal contemporary big harmony vocal band consisting primarily of single and married young adults. Style would be classified as CHR/Pop contemporary.
Proclaim Praise | Piano accompanied, four vocal standard 2 and 3 part harmony vocal band consisting of adults with grown children. Style would be traditional to modern simple choruses.
Grace Quartet | Four man vocal band singing to pre-recorded soundtracks or acapela arrangements consisting of adult men with grown children. Style would be traditional hymns/southern gospel.
Vertical Clearance | Five piece, six vocal band consisting primarily of senior high students. Style is three part complex modern contemporary to light rock.
J Walk | Four piece, six vocal band consisting primarily of middle school students. Style is straight ahead light harmony modern contemporary to simple light rock.
